Just days before War for Atreia begins, the official website has published the rules for its creator competition. The leaderboard will draw points from five sources — progression, PvE, PvP, Twitch, and War Orders — with each player’s score feeding into their Legion’s total, then their faction’s.

The six teams and their captains
The official website groups six Legions across three regions, with ten participants announced for each roster. The cards below use each captain’s artwork; use the dots or side cards to browse the other members and open their verified public Twitch channels.

A competition between six Legions
War for Atreia is a creator competition built around AION 2. Six Legions are competing across the two factions: Elyos and Asmodians. Each player’s score contributes to their Legion’s total; the Legion scores then determine the outcome for their faction.
The official schedule lists the competition start as September 30, 2026, with the final standings reveal during the finals on October 15. Both events are scheduled for 10 AM PDT, or 7 PM in Paris.
Five ways to earn points
The scoring system combines in-game activities with event-specific objectives:
- Progression: levels, item level, and major character milestones.
- PvE: dungeons and other challenges, solo or with your Legion.
- PvP: battles against the opposing faction, battleground wins, and enemy player eliminations.
- Twitch: completing the required weekly AION 2 streaming hours.
- War Orders: special challenges issued during the competition.
The official page has not yet published point values or exact caps for each activity. It does say that some repeatable sources will be capped to prevent players from farming a single activity indefinitely. These weekly caps will reset at the start of each official week; one-time milestones will not reset.
War Orders may require proof
Each War Order must specify its objective, completion window, eligible participants, required proof, and point value. If verification is required, organizers may rely on a Twitch VOD or clip, a timestamp, a screenshot, or character information.
This process does not apply to the regular progression, PvE, and PvP score: the page says those activities do not require player submissions or continuous stream monitoring.
Strategy is encouraged; cheating is not
Teams can optimize their groups, choose efficient objectives, target opponents, plan routes, and coordinate. However, organizers prohibit artificially staging events solely to generate competition points.
Rivalry is welcome as long as it stays focused on the game, the competition, or the Legions. Harassment, threats, discriminatory remarks, doxxing, and targeted attacks against individuals are prohibited.
Exact point values and the objectives for upcoming War Orders remain to be announced. The official website says challenges will be revealed throughout the competition.
