AION 2: prepare for the global launch
Decisions to make before launch, first-day settings and resources worth protecting during the opening week.

Read one chapter at a time. Each section is designed to answer one precise question.
The most expensive launch mistakes rarely come from an imperfect leveling route. They come from rushed decisions: choosing a class from one trailer, joining the wrong server or spending every Kina on equipment replaced an hour later.
NCSoft has announced global early access for September 30, 2026 on PC through Steam and PURPLE. Regional services are planned for Europe, North America, South America and Japan. Check the latest official announcement before purchasing because commercial and server details can still change.

Choose your class before character creation
Prepare one main choice and one backup in case the launch roster changes. Do not rely only on a tier list. Decide which constraint you enjoy: melee positioning, cast times, healing awareness, tank responsibility or summon management.
Our first-class guide compares those experiences without pushing a temporary ranking.
Agree on the server with your group
Write down the region and server selected by your friends or Legion before launch. Wait for the final official server list before treating the decision as permanent.
This simple step prevents the group from discovering after character creation that everyone started in a different place.
Spend the first minutes in settings
Configure the skill bar, sprint and combat dodge. Add a shortcut for hostile-player targeting if PvP interests you.
Restrict automatic extraction to common items you truly do not need and lock every valuable piece. For large battles, prepare a lighter graphics profile with reduced effects and character detail.
Enable automatic combat consumables only when appropriate. Early Shards and scrolls should support fights rather than disappear during travel.
Let the market settle

First-day prices do not represent normal value. Supply is limited while many players chase the same materials. Unless the need is immediate, keep your Kina and wait roughly three or four days before a major purchase.
Compare unit prices rather than complete stacks. Crafting, enchanting and stat optimization all consume Kina, so a healthy reserve at level cap is more useful than perfect temporary gear.
Treat leveling gear as temporary
Equip useful drops but invest only when an obstacle prevents progress. The belt and amulet may follow special systems. Before morphing one, remove it from every preset and inspect the selected materials carefully.
Collect permanent power on the way
Monster souls contribute to the pet collection, while green quests, Feathers and exploration activities provide lasting progression. Killing convenient enemies and completing nearby permanent objectives prevents a long cleanup session later.
Gather along your route as well. On the Asian version, reaching gathering level 5 opens access to rarer Odylium used in equipment crafting. Confirm the resource name and requirement on the global build.
Evaluate launch offers carefully
All global Founder’s Packs include five-day early access. Higher tiers add cosmetics and, at the top tier, a pet and wings. Compare the actual contents rather than automatically choosing the most expensive offer.
For subscriptions and passes, verify whether rewards are account-wide or character-bound and wait until you know which character will remain your main.
Always check the guide date
AION 2 changes frequently, and the global version may include improvements introduced later in Korea and Taiwan. Prepare your class and server, secure your settings, protect your Kina and collect permanent power. Confirm every version-sensitive detail in the launch interface.
