October 21 patch: Hard Expeditions and Ariel Daevanion

The October 21, 2026 Global patch announces Hard mode for Krao Cave and Draupnir, alongside the new Ariel Daevanion Board.

These are NC’s announced maintenance changes, not independently verified in-game results. No version number is provided. Maintenance starts at 08:30 CEST, with a planned duration of 5.5 hours, giving an estimated end of 14:00 Paris time, subject to change.

Hard Expeditions: Krao Cave and Draupnir

Hard-mode rewards include:

• A chance to obtain Philosopher’s Stone: Revelation (Bound), also selectable as a guaranteed reward.
• Ariel Fragments (Bound), with rewards varying by dungeon; quantities are not given.
• A chance to obtain Expedition Hero Artwork, and more Kina than Normal difficulty, with no amount specified.
• All three Unique crafting materials in both dungeons: Wrathful Mind, Wrathful Will and Wrathful Ego.

New achievements cover Expedition Hero Artwork collection and Hard Expeditions. Hard Expedition achievements award Unique Skins.

Ariel board and Substance Morphs

Collect fragments in Hard Expeditions and morph them to progress the new Ariel Daevanion Board.

The note does not explain how limits are distributed between dungeons or whether the 30-morph cap resets. It is therefore not described here as a weekly allowance.

No new damage coefficients are provided. These follow the October 14 class fixes.

Rise to the Challenge

The European event schedule runs from October 21 to the start of maintenance on December 16, 2026. Offers appear under Shop > Wind Breeze Merchants.

Read the source table carefully: 30 is the pack’s item quantity. The purchase-limit column only says “per server per week”, without a purchase count. We do not infer a numerical purchase allowance or second-step unlock conditions.

Abyss capacity, HP and collisions

• Entry capacity is adjusted to admit more players, without a new numerical cap.
• Lower Abyss Dimensional Core HP increases.
• All bosses spawning in the Abyss receive increased HP.
• Kaira and Argo receive slightly larger collision hitboxes.

No before-and-after HP values are supplied.

Market and other fixes

Gathering-material sales

The gameplay-history-based listing restriction is adjusted. Some previously restricted players will be able to trade normally again, while others remain restricted. Eligibility criteria are not published.

Exploration and settings

• Empyrean Traces blocked by Halloween decorations at Dawn Legion Base and Zumion Village in Verteron move to accessible locations.
• Fixes duplicate Movement Controls entries under Settings > Key Settings.
• Fixes mismatches between actual title effects and their item-tooltip descriptions.
